Brooklyn Haynes, Creator

“I found my love for higher education when I began duel-enrolling at a local community college while I was homeschooled for my junior and senior years of high school. From there, I joined UNCG, and immediately became interested in reaching people who didn’t think higher education was an option for them. This led me to become a Student Ambassador, a Spartan Guide, and work at the front desk of the admissions office, talking to prospective students. The Art of Higher Ed was completed as a Capstone Project to combine my love for higher education with my love for graphic and digital design.” - Brooklyn Haynes

A special thank you to my family - to my mom and dad for supporting me when I wanted to go to art school, and every moment before and after, Caleb and Cooper for making me the sister (and middle child) that I am, and Grams and Jess for the hours upon hours of giggles. To Mingus, and Ollie, and Bean for being the pets I dreamed of having as a little girl.

Thank you to the CVPA and undergraduate admissions office at UNCG - you opened an entire world to me that I didn’t know I needed so much until I found it. I don’t know where I’d be had it not been for your investment in me and my future.
